Resources

I’ve compiled a list of resources that contain important information related to teaching and co-teaching dynamics. These materials are designed to further support your understanding of topics that are complex, information heavy and sometimes challenging to fully address in a brief overview. Rather than limiting these ideas to a short page of tips take your time to view these resources and explore them more thoroughly. Engaging with them will help you build a stronger approach to effective teaching practices.

An Individualized Education Program (IEP) is a legally binding document that outlines the instructional supports, goals, and related services provided to a student with an identified disability to meet their unique needs. It is developed and reviewed annually by a team that includes special education and general education teachers, along with relevant specialists, who work together to implement the plan and support the student in achieving the outlined goals.
